Survival Expeditions for Youth Groups, ASDAN Students and Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award

If you looking for a short expedition for your youth group, as part of their work towards ASDAN CoPE qualifications, or Duke of Edinburgh Awards, look no further.

We can provide a bushcraft survival day/s with overnight camp in the Scottish Highlands or in the Sussex Weald. Students can stay overnight in a shelter they made themselves, or in tents or under tarps. We can customise the course to suit you, however a typical course would consist of primitive firelighting and fire building, shelter building, game preparation, water purification, plant uses and foraging - thus covering the fundamentals of wilderness survival. If desired, we can build in "Leave No Trace" training which covers the 7 principles of minimal impact in the outdoors. We are registered providers of this certificate and can award these to your students who show an understanding of the principles.

Our courses are run by qualified bushcraft instructors (NCFE instructors), with Enhanced Disclosure Scotland certificates and CRB clearance, and all our activities are risk assessed.
